About the Artists
T The Group The couples met in 2016. It was not long after their meeting before we realized that they had the same desire to share God's love and mercy through music. Brian and Sherri have written several original songs that the group will share along with many of your familiar gospel and inspirational songs. We will also share our testimonies of all the things God has done for us as He brought us here. Our backbone is God’s infallible word, 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training and righteousness. We believe that God speaks to us in the Bible and His words are direction for our lives. The Bible is our standard and authority in all we say and do. We believe in salvation through the acceptance of Jesus and His shed blood on the cross. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever should believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Our Group verse is Psalm 150:6, Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Brian And Laura Mace Brian and Laura met in 2014, And God started his plan. Laura was the praise and worship leader of her church when Brian started attending. Within a few weeks, Brian was a part of this praise and worship team. Laura had been in prayer about a male voice on the team since there was not one. Brian brings to the group the rich baritone and bass sounds of a mixed quartet. You can tell when he sings that he is singing from his heart, and he truly believes in what he says and sings about when it's about his God. Brian has been involved in the music industry for many years from singing. Brian has hosted national radio programs and also owned Gospel Hour Radio. He always tries to get the gospel and God's word out in any or format or media that he can. Laura contribution to the group is her years of experience as a P & W leader. She sings the melody and soprano parts. Her love for music shows in all she does. Brian and Laura both share a passion for music. This if the foundation on which God put them together. Brian and Laura build their lives on godly principles, and it reflects. In the way they live their daily lives. It is their desire to share the love and the gift of salvation with everyone they meet. They were married in December of 2022. Doug & Sherri Mullenax Doug and Sherry Lee are a husband-and-wife team whose shared life and faith shaped everything they create. Married for decades, they believe their individual gifts were never meant to stand alone, but to work in harmony for a greater purpose. Doug's gift is his voice, a beautiful, smooth tenor marked by precision, warmth and sincerity. He sings only what his heart can stand behind, and that integrity is always heard in his voice. Whether singing something simple or complex, his voice carries honesty, depth, and a quiet strength that leaves a lasting impression. Sherry Lee's gift is both voice and written words. As a singer and songwriter, she gives language to real life stories of faith, pain, restoration and grace. Her lyrics are shaped by lived experiences. And anchored in God's love, while her voice carries tenderness and strength of testimony.
SSalvation Know Jesus, Know peace Just as we use roads to get from one place to another. God has laid out the road to salvation in the book of Romans (The Roman Road To Heaven) 1-Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. This verse establishes that all people are sinners and needs God's grace. 2- Romans 6:23. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. This verse highlights the consequences of sin and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. 3- Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love for us in this while we were still sinners, Christ. For us. This first emphasizes the unconditional love of God who sent his Son to die for us. (John 3:16) 4- Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are justified and by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. This verse explains how to receive salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. It is as simple as ABC's, accept, believe, and confess. 5- Romans 10:13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. This verse emphasizes that salvation is accessible to everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord. Are ready to accept Jesus, say the prayer. Jesus, I ask you now to forgive me of my sins, to come into my heart and save me. I believe that you are the only Son of God and that you came to earth and died, shedding Your blood on the cross for me a sinner and that you rose from the tomb on the third day. The New Motor Coach In April of 2025, God provided us with a motor coach for travel. After using our coach for only a short time, it was hit by a texting driver. And it was totaled and we were at a loss, not knowing what God had in store for us. God is merciful and gives beyond what we deserve. He provided us with this beautiful new coach for travel and to carry out the ministry that He has laid upon our hearts and called us to do. We are blessed and thankful beyond words. The coach allows us to be self-supporting with no expensive hotel rooms or having to eat out when we are out on the road. We realize, that if God has provided it, it must be because we needed it. We anxiously await the direction of God and His leadership as He opens doors for us to minister His word in song and testimony. We look forward to seeing you at your church.

Darnell Burton (INSERT PICTURE) Darnell started playing piano in church when she was 20. She plays by ear and has had no professional training. She'd learned to play by listening to the piano players like Jimmy Swaggart, Floyd Kramer and any others she could listen to. Her talent comes from God. She can transpose a song when needed and she displays the love of God in everything she says and does. While Darnell does not always travel with us, she is a great addition to the Anointed Desire family.
